Rushbury Farm has 'beef
days' once a month when fresh meat can be collected direct
from the farmshop.
Alternatively beef is available frozen (although the more
expensive cuts tend to go very quickly). A lot of custom is
done by pre-ordering - just contact either Lavinia or Pete,
using the above details.
There are also plenty of other local homemade odds and
ends, such as jams, preserves, and the like. Lavinia often
pre-orders the better cuts, such as fillet and rump, since
they tend to go quickest. She also delivers fresh meat
locally, and can deliver frozen to some parts of London.
